MUTABLOOM

Mutabloom

Grow, mutate and collect plants.

Plant seeds, wait for weather, harvest mutated plants worth 1,000×, collect them all, and replant a stronger garden every Season.

There is no download link on this page yet, because there is nothing to download yet. When it is on the App Store, the link will appear here and not before.

The loop

Two to five minutes, and it ends with something you did not expect.

  1. Shop restocks
  2. Buy seeds
  3. Plant
  4. Wait or boost
  5. Weather rolls the mutations
  6. Harvest
  7. Sell, keep, or feed a pet
  8. Better seeds, plots, tools, pets

The shop restocks every five minutes and the weather runs on its own schedule, the same one for everybody, so a Rainbow event is something a garden is caught in rather than something bought. Mutations land on whatever happens to be growing at the time: Golden, Rainbow, Giant, Glowing, Chilled, Wet, Shocked, and the ones each biome keeps to itself. They stack, and a stacked harvest is worth a preposterous multiple of the seed it came from.

Plants keep growing in real time with the app closed, and your pets keep harvesting while you are away, up to a cap. Come back and the garden tells you what it got up to.

What it stands for

The rules the game is built to, rather than a list of features.

Never block the player

No energy bar, no hard paywall, no twenty-four-hour wall to stare at. If you have five minutes, the game has something for you to do with them.

Every session earns an ooh

A mutation, a new journal entry, an egg hatching, a weather front rolling in. Sitting down and getting nothing is a bug, not a difficulty curve.

Generated, not hand-placed

Plants, weather, mutations and biomes come out of data and rules rather than hand-built levels, which is why the garden keeps producing combinations nobody designed.

Ads are gifts, not tolls

The ads worth having are the ones you choose: double a harvest, re-roll the shop, make it rain. Interstitials are rare, capped, and never in your first sessions or in the middle of weather.

Premium feel

Real-time 3D, hand-painted light, haptics you can feel the soil in, and a garden that carries on living on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while the app is shut.

Cozy, for grown-ups

Made for people who want a garden to potter in, not a homework schedule. It is not a children's app and is not in the Kids Category.

Ready for iPhone Duo

Being built to fit the fold rather than be stretched across it: laid out by size class instead of by guessing at a screen, and adopting Apple's Duo layout APIs as they land. No feature needs a fold — everything below is the same game.

Coming November 2026

Mutabloom is in development for iPhone. There are no screenshots on this page yet and no review quotes, because there is no released game to screenshot and nobody has played it. Both will appear when they are real.

What is already true, and will still be true at launch: it is free to play, it sells a purchase that removes the interrupting ads while deliberately keeping the optional rewarded ones, and nothing it sells is needed to see any of it.
